The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation scholarship programs are designed to encourage and support outstanding students who work hard, demonstrate a strong will to succeed, and have financial need. The scholarships provide financial assistance and academic support to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students.

The Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation’s best four-year colleges and universities. Applications for this scholarship are open until November 13, 2019.

The Foundation’s Young Scholars Program is designed to nurture exceptional students who have demonstrated, through academic excellence and extracurricular activities, that they have the potential to excel. Students apply for this program in 7th grade, enter the program in 8th grade, and continue through high school.

The Anita Leishman Ream Music Scholarship has been organized by the Bridgerland Chapter of UMTA in her memory.

Musical America Worldwide is a valuable resource for all students pursuing a music education.

Debra Gamero Scholarship was established to recognize outstanding music students who not only have achieved their musical goals, but share their music with others. The scholarship was named after Debra Gamero in appreciation of the immense work and dedication she has given to provide so many opportunities for students throughout the state.

Applications are due July 31st. No late applications will be accepted. The Awards Reception honoring the chosen scholarship recipients will be held at the annual UMTA State Conference.
