UMTA Concerto Competition Registration
Instructions: Applications will be accepted online only. Payment is made through Paypal and is part of the final step of completing the form below. Registration will open January 2nd each year and will remain open through January 16th each year. Registration will close at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th each year; no late entries will be accepted.
Competition fee is $35 for students of UMTA member teacher or $100 for students of non-UMTA member. Memberships and fee amount will be checked before student’s registration is accepted.
In order to register, you must provide a valid email address. Only one student registration is allowed per email address. Upon submission of information, your cost will be calculated and you will be sent to PayPal.com for payment. You must complete the PayPal process to finish your registration and avoid delays in processing. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make payment. Select the option to make payment without signing up for an account.
Submissions will not be confirmed and finalized until funds have been received through PayPal. Once PayPal has confirmed funds received and your entry has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation number via email for the application submitted. The student’s application must be completed, including payment, by the deadline to be entered in the Concerto Competition.
Teachers are allowed to accompany their students and any others, since accompanists perform behind a screen, hidden from the judges’ view.
