Joining UMTA/MTNA validates you as a progressive teacher, one who is continually improving, and passing that growth along to their students. You partner with a large group of like-minded individuals who have wonderful gifts and talents to share, are willing to do so, and know how to have fun at the same time. The annual fee is: Individual membership is $108; Collegiate membership is $29; and High School membership is $20. We hope you will join us!
As a member of UMTA/MTNA, you join forces with a league of musicians, interested in promoting the arts and sharing their love of music. You become one of over 500 state members who work together to improve skills as a musician, as a teacher, and as a leader.
Memberships expire June 30 each year, and only current memberships are displayed on the website. If you are joining or renewing after June 30, forward your MTNA confirmation e-mail to Arlene Gates at firstname.lastname@example.org. Doing this will ensure your membership will also be updated quickly on the UMTA website.
Collegiate Members: Please be sure to click on the "Collegiate" membership type and not "Active" membership, unless you want a dual membership. If there isn't a chapter associated with the school you are attending, select "Independent Collegiate."
