The Utah Music Teachers Association (UMTA) is a nonprofit organization of over 500 music teachers, independent and collegiate, who share the vision of furthering the art of music through programs that encourage and support teaching and performance. UMTA was organized in 1955 and has been an affiliate of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) since 1956.

Whether you are a teacher, a student, an educator, or a parent, UMTA can be a vital resource to you. Through local monthly meetings and workshops, yearly state conferences, as well as website resources, UMTA is an organization and affiliation that will benefit you greatly.
